- 1 lb. chicken livers
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- 1/2 to 1 lb. bacon
Directions

1Bake livers at 300° for 10 minutes.

2Cool and cut in halves. Combine soy sauce, ginger and sugar; marinate livers for 30 minutes.

3Cut bacon in half or thirds and wrap around liver and water chestnuts and fasten with toothpicks.

4Broil until bacon is crisp, 4 inches from broiler.

5Makes approximately 3 dozen.
