Ingredients

  • 1 can whole water chestnuts
  • 5 oz. soy sauce (lite)
  • 1 pkg. thin sliced bacon
  • pineapple chunks (optional)
  • chicken livers (optional)

Directions

    Drain chestnuts.

    Soak them in soy sauce 2 hours in refrigerator.
  3. 3
    (I put leftover soy sauce back in the bottle.) Wrap bacon around each chestnut with toothpick to hold in place. Place on ungreased cookie sheet in oven at 350° until bacon is crispy, 20 to 30 minutes.
