- 1 nut crust or whole wheat pastry shell
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. onions, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 lb. carrots, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. unbleached flour
- 1 1/2 c. firm cottage cheese
- 1/2 c. grated white cheese
- 1 beaten egg
- fresh ground pepper
- 1 tsp. dill weed
- 3 Tbsp. wheat germ
- paprika
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Melt butter in large heavy skillet.

3Add onions and salt.

4Cook over medium heat until soft, 5 to 8 minutes. Add carrots; stir.

5Sprinkle in flour.

6Cook and stir until carrots are tender, but not mushy.

7If sticking to pan, add up to 3 tablespoons water.

8Remove from heat.
