Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 orange rind
  • 8 whole cloves
  • 5 c. water
  • 8 regular sized tea bags
  • 8 c. water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • juice of 4 oranges

Directions

    Boil together for 5 minutes the sugar, one orange rind half, cloves and five cups of water.

    Strain and cool.

    Bring the 8 cups of water to a boil.
  4. 4
    Remove from heat and add tea bags.
  5. 5
    Cover and allow to steep at least 5 minutes.

    Mix together tea, syrup and fruit juices.

    Keep warm, but do not boil.

    Serves 25.
