- 4 c. flour
- 1 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 1/3 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 1/3 tsp. vanilla
- 1 large can cherry pie filling
Directions

1Mix together first 6 ingredients.

2Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix and divide dough in half.

3Press 1/2 of the dough into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Spread cherry pie filling on top.

5Press other half of dough onto wax paper the size of pan, then turn onto pie filling in pan.

6Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes, until brown. While hot, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
