- 1 c. soft butter
- 1/2 c. confectioners sugar, sifted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. sifted Gold Medal flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Directions

1Mix together thoroughly the butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla.

2Sift together and stir in flour and salt.

3Mix in nuts. Chill dough; roll into 1-inch balls.

4Place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

5Bake until set, but not brown.

6While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.

7Cool; roll in sugar again.

8Makes about 4 dozen 1 1/2-inch cookies.

9Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
