- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 pats butter
- 2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
- 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook first 3 ingredients on high until it spins a thread from spoon.

2Add 1 pat of butter and peanuts.

3Boil about 7 minutes until peanuts smell and liquid has become golden brown color.

4Add soda and salt quickly.

5Stir in pat of butter and start dipping out with metal ladle into 7 to 9-inch buttered aluminum pie pans. Shake evenly out.

6(Helps if someone will shake down while the other pours out the mixture.)
