- 1/4 c. Crisco oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 3 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Place shortening and sugar in bowl.

2Add water; stir well. Stir in yeast.

3Add flour all at once; beat with fork to make soft dough.

4Cover; let rise for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or place in refrigerator until ready to let rise.

5Knead down; make into rolls.

6Let rise.

7Bake at 400° for 12 to 15 minutes.
