- 1 lb. ground sausage
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. oregano or Italian seasoning
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
- salt and pepper
- 1 pkg. cocktail rye bread (dark or light)
Directions

1Brown sausage and beef together.

2Salt and pepper; drain grease.

3Add seasonings and cubed Velveeta cheese.

4Mix and stir until cheese is melted (over burner on medium).

5Spoon mixture onto rye bread slices.

6Should make 20 to 24.

7Place on cookie sheet and bake at 425° until golden, approximately 15 minutes.

8Serve hot!! Enjoy.
