  • 2 1/4 pounds potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup double cream
  • 7 tablespoons butter
  • 4050 saffron filaments

Directions

    Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender then drain well.

    In a small saucepan heat the milk cream butter and saffron.

    Once the butter has melted remove from the heat cover and allow to stand for at least 20 minutes.
