- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sage
- 1 heaping Tbsp. shortening
- 2 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1 c. milk
- 4 strips bacon, cut in 1-inch squares
Directions

1Put flour, baking powder, salt and sage in medium bowl and stir to mix.

2Cut in shortening and add onions and milk.

3Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet.

4Before putting biscuits in oven, put a piece of bacon on top of each one.

5Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
