Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 4 c. chopped celery
  • 10 slices toast
  • 3 to 4 eggs
  • 2 c. cream of chicken soup
  • sage to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • hot water, just enough to moisten

Directions

    Fry sausage, onion and celery.

    Break toast into mixing bowl. Add meat mixture, sage, soup, salt, pepper and eggs.

    Mix.

    Add hot water as needed to moisten.

    Bake until set, about 45 minutes at 375°.
