  • 1 loaf bread
  • 1/2 lb butter, divided
  • 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 -3 large onions, finely chopped
  • 4 -5 stalks celery, finely chopped
  • sage
  • parsley
  • thyme
