  • 1 cup sago
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar caster
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg ground
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon ground

    Chop dates and raisins.

    Pour milk over sago and allow to soak for 3-4 hours in refrigerator.

    Add all other ingredients to milk and tapioca and blend thoroughly. Pour into a greased pudding basin, cover and steam for 3 hours.
