- 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 c. dried bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/3 c. water
Directions

1In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, onion and egg.

2Firmly shape into 6 patties.

3Over medium heat, heat 10-inch skillet until very hot.

4Add patties; cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side, until browned.

5Pour off fat (with lean beef there is no fat).

6Stir remaining soup and water into skillet.

7Cover.

8Cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done. Stir occasionally, if necessary.
