- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. quick oats, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dried onion flakes
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom, celery or tomato soup
- 1 soup can water
Directions

1Combine beef, egg, oats, ketchup, 2 tablespoons water, Worcestershire sauce, onion flakes, salt and pepper.

2Mix well and form into large, oval patties.

3Pat lightly in flour to cover. Brown in frying pan.

4Pour off grease.

5Combine soup and soup can of water.

6Pour over patties and simmer, covered, for 45 minutes.
