- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- dash of pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. ketchup
Directions

1Mix thoroughly 1/3 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepper.

2Shape into 6 oval patties.

3In skillet, brown patties (use shortening if necessary); pour off fat.

4Add remaining soup, ketchup, Worcestershire and mustard.

5Gradually blend water into flour until smooth.

6Stir into soup mixture.

7Cover, cook over low heat 20 minutes or until done.

8Stir occasionally.

9Makes 6 servings.
