Salmon Burgers

  • 5 ounces salmon, canned boneless, skinless, pink
  • 13 cups water chestnuts drained and finely chopped
  • 13 cups bread crumbs, whole wheat panko
  • 13 cup scallions, spring or green onions sliced
  • 1 large egg whites
  • 1 x olive oil for cooking

Directions

    Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl.

    Heat olive oil in medium skillet on medium high heat.

    Shape mix into burgers.

    You can also use a ring mold to make patties.

    Cook about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.

    Serve on toasted wheat bun!

    You can also add your favorite sauce or light mayo.
