- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can Alaska salmon
- 1 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. sliced green onions
- 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp. grated, fresh ginger
- 3 egg whites
- vegetable oil for frying
- bread crumbs to coat patties
Directions

1Drain and flake salmon.

2Toss flaked salmon with bread crumbs, onion, cilantro and ginger.

3Mix in egg whites.

4Form mixture into 8 patties; coat with bread crumbs.

5Heat a small amount of oil in a nonstick frying pan.

6Saute patties over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

7Serve with mixed greens with Orange-Ginger Vinaigrette.
