- 1 lb. can salmon
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1 tsp. onion, finely chopped
- 1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- salmon liquor
- milk
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions

1Drain salmon and save liquor.

2Remove bones and skin and flake salmon.

3Melt Crisco in frying pan.

4Add onion and cook until yellow.

5Add bread crumbs, salt and pepper; brown lightly.

6Put liquor in 1 cup and pour milk to make 1 cup.
