  • 1 (11 oz.) pkg. pie crust mix (2 prepared pie crusts)
  • 1 (about 16 oz.) can salmon, drained and flaked
  • 4 green onions, chopped (about 6 Tbsp.)
  • 8 eggs
  • 4 c. whipping cream or light cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper
  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • softened butter
  • 6 slices white bread, crust removed
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn Cheddar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 c. half and half

    Cook sausage; crumble, drain well and set aside.

    Spread bread with butter; cut into cubes.

    Place bread in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

    Sprinkle with sausage; top with cheese.

    Combine remaining ingredients; beat well.

    Pour over sausage, cheese and bread.

    Chill at least 8 hours.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.
