  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole canned tomatoes
  • 1 can green chiles, chopped
  • 3 green onions with stems
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cilantro

Directions

    Drain tomato juice into bowl.

    Add green chiles, onions, garlic, lemon juice and chopped cilantro.

    Chop tomatoes in blender just until chunky.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    I'm sure you could add jalapenos to this recipe although I didn't miss them.
