- 25 tomatoes
- 4 large red onions
- 1/2 to 3/4 jalapeno pepper
- green peppers (optional)
- 2 c. white vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. salt
- 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. cumin seed, crushed
Directions

1Scald, peel, chop and chunk tomatoes.

2Chop onions in medium sized pieces.

3Chop peppers.

4(The more seeds you use, the hotter the salsa.)

5Mix vinegar, sugar, salt, garlic salt, chili powder, black powder and cumin.

6Mix all together and bring to a boil. Simmer on medium heat for 1 1/2 hours.

7Stir often.

8Place in clean hot canning jars and hot water bath for 15 minutes.
