  • 2 Morningstar Farms spicy black bean burgers
  • 3 slices whole-grain bread
  • 14 cup mesclun
  • 3 tablespoons salsa
  • 4 teaspoons light cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (your favourite kind, I use Frank's Red Hot)

Directions

    Toast the slices of bread without butter in a toaster or toaster over until VERY lightly browned.

    In a small cup, mix the cream cheese and hot sauce (to taste) together until completely blended.

    Wet a paper towel completely with water and lay on a microwave-safe plate.

    Place the frozen burger patties on the paper towel and fold it once over them so they are sandwiched.

    Microwave for 35 seconds.

    Spread half of the cream cheese mixture thick onto each black bean burgers.

    Build the sandwich so the layers (from top to bottom) are as follows: Bread, Mesclun, Burger, Bread, Salsa, Burger, Bread.
