  • 1 TBS Olive Oil
  • 1 lb. tomatillos
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 TBS Cilantro
  • 2 tsp. minced jalapeno
  • 1 c. chicken stock
  • 1 TBS Mrs Renfro's Jalapeno Green Salsa
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Saute onion in olive oil in large skillet until soft. Add garlic. Cook tomatillos in boiling, salted water for 2 to 3 minutes, then puree in blender with cilantro. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes. Add Jalapeno Green Salsa. Serve at room temperature.
