Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 12 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter, softened divided 3/4 and 1/4 cups
- 2 cups mixed nuts
- 12 cup white corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350.

2In bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, salt and 3/4 cup margarine mixing well.

3Press into greased 15 x 10 jelly-roll pan.

4Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

5Sprinkle nuts over crust.

6In small saucepan, combine corn syrup, 1/4 cup margarine, water and chips.

7Boil 2 minutes, stir constantly.

8Pour over nuts and crust.

9Return to oven and bake 10-12 minutes more until just browned.

10Cool and cut into bars.
