  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk, hot
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or 1 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons curry paste or 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or 2 tablespoons canola oil
