Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Cream the sugar and butter; add the rest of the ingredients. (Batter will be fairly stiff.)

    Cover and refrigerate overnight or for several hours.

    Roll out on floured board about 1/8-inch thick.
  4. 4
    Cut into any shape you desire and bake at 350° on a lightly greased cookie sheet.

    Check after 8 minutes.

    Yield: 4 dozen.
