- 1 c. butter (margarine)
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
Directions

1Beat butter for 30 seconds; add granulated sugar and beat until fluffy.

2Add vanilla and 2 teaspoons water, beat well.

3Stir in flour and pecans.

4Shape into 1-inch balls or 1 1/2 x 1/2-inch fingers.

5Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

6Bake in 325° oven for 20 minutes.

7Cool completely.

8Gently shake a few cookies at a time in a bag with powdered sugar.
