- 1 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add vanilla, water and flour and mix well.

3Stir in nuts.

4Shape into small balls or fingers.

5Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in oven at 325° for about 20 minutes. Remove to rack.

6Cool slightly.

7Roll in confectioners sugar.

8If desired, dip end of each finger in thin chocolate icing.

9Makes 3 dozen.
