- 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar; add 2 teaspoons water and vanilla.

2Mix well.

3Blend in flour and nuts; chill for 4 hours.

4Shape into ball or fingers.

5Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325° about 20 minutes.

6Remove from pan; cool slightly.

7Roll in confectioners sugar.
