  • 12 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup butter, softened

Directions

    Arrange apples in a large baking dish.

    Combine all other ingredients in a large bowl, and mix with your hands until well combined.

    If mixture seems too dry, add a little more butter.

    Crumble the mixture evenly over the top of the apples.

    Bake at 180C for 30-40 minutes.

    Serve hot or cold, with icecream, or hot custard.
