  • 3 c. cooked, mashed, drained squash
  • 1 c. sharp cheese, cubed
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped onions
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. bread crumbs or saltines, crumbled

Directions

    Combine squash, cheese and onions.

    Beat eggs; add milk. Season with salt and pepper.

    Add to the 1st three ingredients. Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole.

    Add bread crumbs, dotted with butter, as topping.

    Cook in a 350° oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
