- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 5 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon extract
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Blend butter, margarine and shortening together until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and continue to blend.

2Add sugar.

3In a separate bowl, mix flour and baking powder together.

4In measuring cup, mix milk, vanilla and lemon extract.

5Alternate adding flour mixture and milk mixture with butter mixture, ending with flour mixture.

6Keep smooth.

7Place in floured and greased tube pan and place in cold oven.

8Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes before inverting pan.
