- 1 1/2 lb. link sausage, cut into 1-inch diagonal slices
- 1 large head cabbage, cut into large chunks
- water (as needed)
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Brown sausage in a jumbo (rectangular) electric skillet or Dutch oven.

2Add 2 cups water.

3Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes.

4Stir in cabbage pieces and add additional water as needed to keep it moist.

5Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender.

6Cabbage will greatly shrink as it cooks.

7Season to taste with salt and pepper.
