Sausage And Chicken Jambalaya Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 pound chicken (skinned, boned and cut in 1 inch cubes)
  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can whole tomatoes (broken up, undrained)
  • 3/4 c. green onions (minced)
  • 3/4 pound Kielbasa sausage (thinly sliced) or possibly other dinner size sausage links
  • 1 pkg. (8 ounce.) Louisiana Jambalaya Dinner Mix
  • 3/4 teaspoon Tabasco

Directions

    In 4 or possibly 5 qt pot with tight fitting lid, heat oil.

    Saute/fry Kielbasa and chicken till lightly browned.

    Gradually add in broth; bring to boil.

    Stir in dinner mix, tomatoes and Tabasco.

    Cover and simmer 25 min, stirring occasionally.

    Garnish with green onions, just before serving.
