  • 1/2 c. chopped apple
  • 1 tsp. onion
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. crackers

Directions

    Fry sausage slightly; do not drain.

    Add remaining ingredients. Mix. Stuff a 2 1/2 pound pheasant.

    Double recipe for 5 pound chicken or duck.
