  • 1 1/2 lb. sausage
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • celery, chopped fine
  • 5 c. water
  • 2 pkg. chicken noodle soup
  • 1 c. rice, uncooked
  • 1/2 c. sliced almonds (not blanched)

Directions

    Brown sausage, pepper, onion and celery.

    Pour off fat.

    Bring water and noodle soup to a boil.

    Add rice and cook 10 minutes. Add almonds.

    Pour together and bake 30 minutes, covered, at 350° and 15 minutes, uncovered.
