- 1 cake yeast
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Combine water, yeast, salt and sugar; let stand until dissolved.

2Add shortening and flour.

3Mix and turn out onto lightly floured surface.

4Knead.

5Shape rolls and let stand 1 hour.

6Bake at 375° until done.
