  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1 cake yeast
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 6 c. flour

Directions

    Combine water, yeast, salt and sugar; let stand until dissolved.

    Add shortening and flour.

    Mix and turn out onto lightly floured surface.

    Knead.

    Shape rolls and let stand 1 hour.

    Bake at 375° until done.
