- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 large onion
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 (17 oz.) can creamed corn
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 c. grated cheese (yellow)
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Grease a 10-inch skillet.

3Brown sausage and onion; drain.

4Combine eggs, meal, corn, milk and oil.

5Pour 1/2 of mixture in skillet.

6Sprinkle with sausage mixture and cheese.

7Pour rest of batter over top.

8Bake for 30 to 40 minutes. Let cool and cut.
