  • 2 lb. rolls bulk sausage (ham sausage or extra mild)
  • 1 large onion, chopped small
  • 2 c. water
  • 5 to 6 medium potatoes, cut in 3/4-inch cubes
  • dash of salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 cans creamed corn
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
  • 1 large bag Fritos corn chips

Directions

    Cut sausage into rounds and flatten by hand. Brown in large stockpot. When sausage is done, remove from drippings and set aside.
