  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. cornmeal (self-rising)
  • 17 oz. of can of cream style corn
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. sharp cheddar cheese 8 oz.

Directions

    Grease 10 1/2 inch skillet. Brown sausage and onion (drain well). In bowl mix eggs, cornmeal, milk, cream corn and oil pour 1/2 mixture in skillet, sprinkle sausage on top, pour remaining batter on top. Bake 40 -45 minutes at 425°.
