Ingredients
- 1 lb. link sausage
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped parsley or 1/4 c. dried parsley flakes
- 1 c. mushrooms
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 loaf bread, 1-inch cubes
- 2 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Fry bacon and sausage; cut in 1-inch pieces.

2Drain on paper towels.

3Dump most of grease; use same skillet to saute onion, celery, mushrooms and parsley.

4Put bread cubes in a large bowl. Sprinkle with sage, thyme and pepper.

5Add meat and other ingredients to bread.

6Toss with large spoon until bread is wet. If needed, add water.

7Dump into greased cake pan.

8Bake at 350°, covered, 30 minutes, then bake uncovered 30 minutes or until golden brown.
