- 6 slices white bread
- 4 eggs
- 1 lb. cooked sausage, drained
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- dash of salt and pepper
Directions

1Break bread in greased 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish.

2Mix eggs and all other ingredients and pour over bread.

3Cover tightly with foil.

4Let stand in refrigerator overnight.

5Bake covered at 325° for 45 minutes.

6Uncover and bake additional 15 minutes.

7Let stand a few minutes, then cut into squares and serve.

8Fresh fruit goes well with this dish.
