- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk, scalded
- flour
- 32 small sausages
Directions

1Mix sugar, oil, salt and hot milk in large bowl.

2When cooled to lukewarm, add beaten egg and yeast (dissolved in warm water). Add flour until dough is soft, but no longer sticky.

3Knead on floured board; dough should be soft, not sticky.

4Put dough in clean, lightly oiled bowl; cover with damp cloth and let rise in a warm place until double in size (about 1 1/2 hours).

5Turn out on board.

6Cut into 32 pieces.

7Flatten each piece and roll around a sausage.

8Place on greased cookie sheet and let rise about 1 hour or until double.

9Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
