Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 36 wonton wrappers
  • Oil for deep frying

Directions

    In large skillet, brown sausage; drain.

    Add onion, celery, salt and pepper.

    Saute 1 to 2 minutes; cool.

    To assemble sausage rolls, place 1 tbsp.
  5. 5
    sausage mixture diagonally on each wonton wrapper.

    Fold like an egg roll, by folding one corner over filling and tucking point under; fold in 2 side corners.

    Roll up tightly toward remaining corner; mosten point to seal.

    In deep fryer or heavy saucepan, heat 1 to 2 inches oil to 375F.

    Fry sausage rolls for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown.

    Drain on paper towels.
