- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 2/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 lb. bulk sausage
Directions

1Cut shortening into flour (as for biscuits).

2Stir in milk. Pat dough out into about 1/4-inch thick rectangle on a piece of floured waxed paper.

3Spread uncooked sausage evenly onto dough. Roll up like jelly roll.

4Cut into slices and bake on ungreased pan at 425° until brown.
