- 1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 4 slices bread, crumbled
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. fresh parsley or 1 tsp. dried
- 20 jumbo shells, parboiled and drained
- your favorite spaghetti sauce
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Prick sausage with fork and parboil in small amount of water in covered skillet for 5 minutes.

2Drain.

3Chop sausage and fry along with onion.

4Spoon off excess fat.

5Add egg, bread and parsley and mix thoroughly.

6Fill hot parboiled shells with sausage mixture.

7Arrange in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, topping with spaghetti sauce.

8Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

9Remove foil.

10Sprinkle grated cheese and bake, uncovered, for 10 minutes more.
