Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) jar applesauce
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut
  • 1/3 c. dry white wine
  • 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 1 (16 oz.) can small white potatoes, drained
  • 1 (16 oz.) can small whole onions, drained
  • 1 (12 oz.) ring Polish sausage, slashed
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Directions

    Mix applesauce, sauerkraut, wine and brown sugar.

    Place in 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.

    Arrange potatoes and onions around edge of dish.

    Place sausage in center.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until heated thoroughly (baked uncovered).

    When done and out of oven, sprinkle with parsley before serving.
