    Put butter and oil in saute pan.

    Depending how many onions your using, 2 onions for me is at least 2 tablespoons of both.

    Medium heat.

    Add onions .

    Salt to taste

    Slow cook for your desired taste .

    These were cooked to have just a little bit of sweetness.

    About 12 minutes stirring often.

    The longer you saute them the sweeter they get.

    Just add oil and butter when needed.

    These are not meant to be healthy so don't be scared of butter.

    Trust me, the ones at your favorite restaurants are drenched in butter.
